Role Description The Quality Head – Leaf Spring Division is a full-time, on-site role based in Maharashtra, India. This role is responsible for leading all quality-related activities for the leaf spring division, including establishing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and systems in line with ISO/TS requirements and customer specifications.

Day-to-day tasks include overseeing inspection and testing processes, reviewing quality reports and data, managing non-conformities, initiating corrective and preventive actions,



and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The Quality

Head will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent product quality, drive root cause analysis, and implement robust quality controls for domestic and export customers. The role also involves leading internal and external audits, training team members on quality practices, and representing the division in customer quality reviews and certifications.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure consistent, defect-free leaf spring production.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to design, implement, and monitor effective quality systems and compliance with standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret quality data, perform root cause analysis, and drive data-based improvements.
- Relevant experience in automotive or component manufacturing, preferably in leaf springs or suspension systems, is highly beneficial.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other automotive quality tools is advantageous.
- Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams, with robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
