About The Role To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a talented Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability across our Payments Platform and financial transaction systems. You will oversee comprehensive testing processes, including end-to-end transaction validation, automation, performance, and security testing, to deliver secure, compliant, and effective payment solutions.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on payment systems or financial technology.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java and automated testing frameworks.
- Proven experience testing Android applications and understanding of mobile automation tools like Appium.
- Strong knowledge of payment standards such as EMV, NFC, Contactless Payments, and ISO 8583.
- Experience working with REST APIs, Postman, Rest Assured, and API automation techniques.




- Proficiency with SonarQube, Selenium, JUnit, and other automation tools for mobile and backend testing.
- Experience conducting performance testing using JMeter or Gatling.
- Knowledge of security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite, along with familiarity with PCI DSS and EMV compliance requirements.
- Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and experience in validating financial transactions.
- Experience working with Kafka, microservices architecture, distributed systems, version control (Git), Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end test strategies for payment transaction flows, including EMV, sales, authorization, refunds, reversals, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Validate payment workflows across multiple platforms including mobile applications, backend microservices, APIs, payment gateways, acquirers, processors, and banking systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks utilizing Java for API, mobile, and backend testing to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Develop automated regression suites and integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
- Perform performance, load, and stress testing to evaluate system scalability, stability, and responsiveness under various conditions.
- Conduct security testing focusing on encryption, authentication mechanisms,



and identifying vulnerabilities using tools like OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and EMV standards.
- Execute compatibility testing across different mobile devices and operating systems to guarantee consistent user experience.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues, collaborating closely with engineering teams to resolve critical transaction failures promptly and effectively.
