About The Role To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality, security, and reliability of our Payments Platform and financial transaction systems.

The Senior QA Engineer will own the end-to-end testing process across multiple platforms including mobile applications, backend microservices, APIs, and payment integrations. This position is ideal for a professional passionate about automation, distributed systems, and delivering high-quality payment solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies, automate testing processes, and uphold the highest standards of security and compliance within our payment ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically within payment or financial systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, and Appium.
- Hands-on experience testing Android applications and mobile automation.
- Valuable understanding of payment technologies including EMV, NFC,



Contactless Payments, and ISO 8583 standards.
- Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman and automation frameworks like Rest Assured.
- Solid knowledge of code quality tools including SonarQube, and experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Familiarity with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite, and knowledge of PCI DSS and EMV compliance standards.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, and experience validating financial transactions.
- Experience working with Kafka, microservices architecture, distributed systems, source control (Git), project management tools (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end test strategies for payment transaction workflows, including EMV, sales, authorization, refunds, reversals, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Validate payment workflows across diverse platforms including mobile applications, backend microservices, APIs, payment gateways, acquirers, processors, and banking systems to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java for API, mobile, and backend testing to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Create automated regression testing suites and integrate quality gates into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for rapid deployment cycles.
- Conduct performance, load,



and stress testing to assess platform scalability, stability, and reliability under various conditions.
- Perform security testing focusing on encryption, authentication mechanisms, and identifying vulnerabilities using tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite, ensuring adherence to PCI DSS and EMV standards.
- Execute compatibility testing across multiple mobile devices and operating system versions to guarantee consistent user experience.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues, collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical transaction failures promptly.
