Quality Assistant

Department

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Quality Inspector and Quality Department in carrying out day-to-day inspection activities.
- Support in-process and final inspection of cartridge cases as per approved specifications and quality requirements.
- Assist in visual and dimensional inspection of components and finished products.
- Handle and maintain inspection records, check sheets, and quality-related documentation.
- Assist in identifying, segregating, and reporting non-conforming products.
- Support the Quality team in maintaining product identification and traceability.
- Assist in monitoring production processes and reporting quality abnormalities to the concerned Quality Inspector or supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of measuring instruments and inspection gauges.
- Support the implementation of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams for routine quality-related activities.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, and workplace discipline requirements.

Shift Requirement





Day / Night Shift

Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Working Hours

8 Hours / 12 Hours, depending on production and operational requirements.

Relocation

Candidates should be willing and prepared to relocate to Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, as per the requirements of the position.

Salary

Negotiable and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI / Diploma or Graduation in a relevant technical discipline will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality inspection processes will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic measuring instruments and gauges will be preferred.
- Positive observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain records and follow work instructions.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing or quality-related activities will be preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn and build a career in the Quality function may also apply.
