Role Description The QS Manager will be responsible for managing the complete quantity surveying and commercial functions across ongoing and upcoming projects. The role includes project budgeting, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, tendering, contractor evaluation, billing, cost control, material reconciliation, variation management, and final account closure.

The QS Manager will monitor budgeted versus actual costs, review and certify contractor/subcontractor bills, manage client billing, track executed and balance quantities, and identify potential cost overruns or commercial risks. The role also involves preparing cost reports, supporting commercial negotiations, reviewing work orders, tracking extra items and deviations, and coordinating closely with Project Management, Planning, Procurement, Accounts, and Execution teams. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad/Secunderabad.





Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Billing, Estimation, Contracts, or Commercial Management within the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and rate analysis for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Hands-on experience in tendering, RFQs, bid evaluation, contractor comparison, negotiation, and work order finalization .
- Solid experience in contractor/subcontractor billing, client billing, RA bills, measurements, and final bill certification .
- Good knowledge of material reconciliation , including major construction materials such as cement, steel, RMC/concrete, blocks, and related materials.
- Ability to monitor budget vs committed cost vs actual cost , analyze deviations, forecast costs, and identify cost overruns.
- Experience handling variations, extra items, change orders, commercial claims, and contract-related documentation .
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for costing, billing, reconciliation, and commercial reporting.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP systems, and construction/project management software is preferred.
- Valuable understanding of construction drawings, specifications, methods, materials, and project execution processes.
- Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects will be preferred.
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
