Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare raw material, in-process and finished-product samples for physical testing.
2. Conduct physical tests on technical textile materials as per approved test methods and specifications. Perform tests such as tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, GSM, thickness, bursting strength, dimensional stability and other applicable physical tests.
3. Perform tests such as tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, GSM, thickness, bursting strength and dimensional stability, as applicable.
4. Operate laboratory testing instruments and equipment safely and correctly.
5. Follow approved SOPs, testing procedures and quality specifications during testing.
6. Accurately record test observations and results in laboratory registers, formats or software.
7. Check test results against specified quality standards and product requirements.
8. Immediately report abnormal or out-of-specification test results to the QC Supervisor/Engineer.
9. Maintain proper identification, labelling and traceability of all test samples.
10. Assist in preparing laboratory test reports and quality documentation.
11. Ensure laboratory testing equipment is clean and properly maintained.
12. Assist in calibration and verification of laboratory testing instruments.
13. Maintain proper records of equipment usage, calibration and testing activities.
14. Maintain laboratory housekeeping and follow 5S and safety practices.
15. Assist QC Engineers/Supervisors during product testing and inspection activities.
16. Support retesting and quality investigations as instructed by the QC team.
17. Coordinate with Production and QC teams for timely sample collection and testing.
18.
Maintain adequate laboratory consumables, accessories and testing materials.
19. Ensure samples are properly stored and disposed of as per laboratory procedures.
20. Support continuous improvement activities related to testing accuracy and laboratory operations.
Required Qualifications · Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. / B.Tech. or equivalent qualification in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
· 2-5 years of experience in a textile, technical textile, testing laboratory or manufacturing QC setting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
