Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a QA Lead specializing in test automation using Appium, WebdriverIO, and Playwright. The QA Lead will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining test strategies, creating and executing test cases, reviewing test results, and coordinating with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects.

The role also involves mentoring QA team members, improving QA processes, implementing quality metrics, and contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.



The QA Lead will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure releases meet quality standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Experience in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to define, monitor, and improve QA processes and standards.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar regulated-quality frameworks is an advantage for structured, compliant workflows.
- Hands-on expertise with Appium, WebdriverIO, and Playwright for test automation across web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to lead and mentor QA engineers, manage workloads, and collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on root-cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in en_US and the ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
