About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Tester with strong experience in testing financial or crypto exchange platforms. The ideal candidate will design and execute automated test suites to ensure reliability, security, and scalability of our Node.js-based exchange system.

This role demands expertise in modern automation frameworks, hands-on knowledge of load, penetration, and security testing, and the ability to drive incident reporting and root-cause analysis (RCA) to maintain high-quality release standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple release cycles.
- Perform load and performance testing to validate scalability under high transaction volumes.
- Carry out security and penetration testing to safeguard the exchange against vulnerabilities.
- Implement structured incident management processes, including defect reporting, RCA, and test documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers,



and DevOps to integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test environments, simulate trading workflows, deposits/withdrawals, and validate exchange functionalities end-to-end.
- Continuously enhance test frameworks for speed, maintainability, and coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of QA/Testing experience, with at least 2 years in automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java or JavaScript).
- Proficiency in API testing tools: Postman, Newman, REST Assured.
- Solid understanding of Node.js applications and REST/WebSocket APIs.
- Experience with load/performance testing tools: JMeter, Locust, or Gatling.
- Knowledge of security & penetration testing methodologies (OWASP, Burp Suite, ZAP).
- Strong background in smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with incident management tools: Jira, TestRail, or similar.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
