We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager who can take complete ownership of the purchasing and procurement cycle, from material requirements and vendor quotations to purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, inventory coordination, and MIS.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement requirements
- Source and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
- Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
- Track pending POs and ensure timely material deliveries
- Follow up with vendors for availability, dispatch, and delays
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, accounts, transporters, and other teams
- Monitor stock availability and critical material requirements
- Resolve quantity, quality, damage, and delivery discrepancies
- Maintain vendor, purchase, delivery, and pending-material MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports
- Track planned vs. actual delivery timelines
- Identify alternate vendors and procurement cost-saving opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Previous experience in Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Management, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred
- Manufacturing or building-material industry experience will be an advantage
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or purchase management software preferred

Who We’re Looking For

We need someone who goes beyond simply placing purchase orders. The ideal candidate should take ownership of the complete purchase cycle , proactively track requirements, negotiate with vendors, control procurement costs, follow up on pending materials, coordinate deliveries, and ensure material shortages do not disrupt operations.
