About the Role

DIAMETRIC BUILDS PVT LTD is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to manage the complete procurement process for construction and project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, material sourcing, price negotiation, purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete purchase and procurement process for construction/project requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source construction materials, hardware, electrical, plumbing, civil, and finishing materials as required.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Store Team, Accounts, and Vendors.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and vendor details.
- Monitor material prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality and specifications.
- Follow up with vendors regarding pending orders and deliveries.
- Resolve issues related to material quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
- Maintain an updated vendor database and purchase tracker.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with the site/store team to avoid material shortages.
- Prepare regular purchase and procurement reports for management.




- Ensure procurement activities are completed within approved budgets and timelines.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Purchase & Procurement Management.
- Positive knowledge of construction and building materials.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to compare quotations and conduct price analysis.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of purchase documentation and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.
- Cost-conscious approach with good decision-making ability.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in the construction, real estate, interior, or infrastructure industry.
- Experience in handling construction material procurement will be preferred.
- Candidate should be willing to coordinate with project sites across Noida, Delhi, and Faridabad.
