Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially oriented Product Management professional to manage and develop the company's pharmaceutical impurity product portfolio. The role will involve monitoring market requirements, identify new products and sourcing opportunities, managing product availability and inventory, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and supporting business growth through effective product portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio Management
· Manage and maintain the pharmaceutical impurity product portfolio based on market demand and business requirements.
· Monitor product availability, stock levels, product movement, and identify fast-moving and high-demand products.
· Identify gaps in the existing product portfolio and recommend new products based on market opportunities.
· Maintain accurate product information, specifications, availability, and commercial data.
Product Sourcing & Vendor Coordination
· Identify suitable manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, and vendors for required impurity compounds.
· Evaluate vendors based on product quality, availability, pricing, MOQ, lead time, and reliability.
· Coordinate with vendors for product quotations, technical information, availability, and delivery timelines.
· Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers and laboratories.
Purchase & Stock Planning
· Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely replenishment of fast-moving and critical impurity compounds.
· Coordinate purchase requirements based on sales demand, inventory levels, and projected business requirements.
· Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely availability of products.
· Coordinate with Inventory, Purchase, Stores, and Sales teams to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
Commercial & Pricing Support
· Collect and compare vendor quotations to support effective product sourcing and pricing decisions.
· Analyse product costs, market pricing, MOQ, lead times, and other commercial parameters.
· Support pricing decisions by providing relevant market and supplier intelligence.
· Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved product margins.
Product Data & Documentation
· Maintain accurate product databases covering product codes, names, specifications, vendors, pricing, stock, and availability.
· Ensure timely updating of product information across internal systems and relevant business platforms.
· Maintain product-related records, vendor details, quotations, purchase history, and order status.
· Prepare product reports and MIS for management review and business planning.
Sales & Business Support
· Provide Sales and Business Development teams with updated product availability, pricing, and product-related information.
· Support customer-specific product requirements by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
· Identify cross-selling and portfolio expansion opportunities based on customer and market requirements.
· Support product launches and promotional initiatives for new and strategically important products.

Qualification
· B.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
· M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry or B.Pharm/M.Pharm will be preferred.
Experience
· Freshers can apply.
· 0 - 3 years of experience in Product Management, Procurement, Purchase, Inventory, Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sales, or a related function will be preferred.
· Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical impurities, reference standards, chemicals, laboratory products, or pharmaceutical procurement will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
