Qualification & Experience
• At least 5-7 years of FMCG sales Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development/Modern Trade/Export Business
• Excellent level of communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Key Deliverables of the Role
• Responsible for Kenya & East Africa Business and be accountable for Revenue and Trading profit Objectives.
• Incumbent will be the Key FPR for managing the distribution alliances between Company and respective country partners.
• Responsible for delivering budgeted business-wise top line performance and Net Contribution
• Coordination with Supply chain / logistic / finance teams for timely servicing of orders
• Plan and forecast the annual business plan for the assigned customers, new product launches & list of products,
sales/performance/profitability, forecasting, promotional campaign planning and execution for increasing brand visibility
• Identify opportunities for entering new countries in the East & Central Africa
• Expand portfolio of Company's in different countries,
maximize sales and ensure business continuity.
• Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of markets in terms of potential, size and share for the products.
• Develop thorough understanding of Food & Cosmetic laws applicable to the relevant geographies
• Benchmark competition pricing / branding and maintain repository of all data
• Ensuring a periodic reconciliation of accounts from channel partners / Key customers
