Job Description
Position: Assistant Professor – Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT)
nInstitute: Apollo Institute of Hospital Management and Allied Sciences (AIHMAS)
nRole Summary:
nDeliver theoretical and practical instruction in Nuclear Medicine Technology, supervise student clinical/lab training, and support curriculum development within the Allied Health Sciences department.
nKey Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate NMT courses (radiopharmacy, radiation safety, imaging techniques, nuclear instrumentation, etc.)n
- Supervise practical/lab sessions and student clinical postings in nuclear medicine departmentsn
- Assist in curriculum development in line with regulatory (NCAHP/State Council, AERB) and accreditation standardsn
- Mentor students; support academic and research projectsn




- Assist in assessments, exam evaluation, and academic auditsn
- Support institutional accreditation (NAAC/NABH-linked) documentation as neededn
- Participate in faculty development and continuing education activitiesn

nQualifications:

- n
- M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent); Ph.D. preferredn
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching/clinical experience (as per regulatory norms for Assistant Professor level)n
- AERB certification/RSO eligibility preferredn
- Prior academic teaching experience in an allied health sciences program preferredn
