Role Description The Public Speaking and Communications Specialist is a full-time, remote role focused on enhancing the organization’s internal and external communication impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging presentations and training sessions, crafting clear communication materials, and supporting thought leadership initiatives.

The specialist will develop and implement strategic communication plans, draft press releases and announcements, and ensure consistent messaging across digital platforms.



Additional tasks include collaborating with educators and leadership to communicate program updates, managing internal communications for key initiatives, and providing guidance on effective public speaking techniques to team members.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and audience engagement.
- Ability to create compelling press releases and media statements.
- Experience with strategic communications and message development.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and persuasive content.
- Background in internal communications, with experience supporting cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Education, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in education, e-learning, or training environments is preferred.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
- Comfort with digital tools and virtual presentation platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, webinar tools).
