Cadabams Hospitals seeking a qualified and compassionate MD Psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care including evaluations, therapy, medication management, and crisis intervention while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations
- Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, etc.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Provide psychotherapy (CBT, supportive therapy, etc.) as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Handle psychiatric emergencies and crisis interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
- Participate in case discussions, ward rounds, and clinical meetings
- Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards
