About the Role

We are hiring a Production Supervisor for a rapidly growing Ready-to-Cook and Staples food business. This is a factory-based role responsible for managing day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth manufacturing, maintaining food safety standards, improving productivity, and leading shopfloor teams.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Ready-to-Cook food manufacturing and should be comfortable working closely with production teams to deliver quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Supervise day-to-day production activities across manufacturing lines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Monitor line performance and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate manpower deployment across shifts.

Process & Productivity

- Improve production efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Monitor production KPIs such as output, yield, downtime, and line efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives on the shopfloor.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Quality & Food Safety

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation across production areas.




- Coordinate with QA and QC teams to resolve production-related quality issues.
- Ensure proper batch documentation and traceability.

People Management

- Lead, train, and motivate production operators and shift teams.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and workforce productivity.
- Support skill development and cross-training initiatives.

Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Support smooth production scheduling and dispatch readiness.

Preferred Product Experience Candidates with experience in manufacturing products such as:

- Ready-to-Cook mixes
- Instant food products
- Spice blends
- Millets
- Rice products
- Dals
- Packaged food products

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 5–10 years of production experience in Ready-to-Cook or Packaged Food manufacturing.
- Hands-on shopfloor experience in food processing plants.
- Positive understanding of production planning, line balancing, and manpower management.
- Experience with food safety standards such as FSSAI, GMP, and HACCP.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive operational improvements.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Diploma/B.E. in Food Technology, Mechanical, Production, or a related discipline is preferred.
