Job Requirements About the Role The role entails scaling up the Loan Against Property (LAP), Business Loan, and SME Loans business for the bank by developing compelling value propositions to expand existing products, channels, segments, and customer base. This is achieved by delivering banking solutions in a cost-efficient and technologically effective manner.

The role also involves establishing a robust interface with key dealers, strategic partners, and brands, and working closely with them to boost business volume across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead the LAP business to expand volume and profitability of products and portfolio.
- Build teams, systems, processes, and culture conducive to scale and consistent delivery.
- Collaborate with Retail Assets team including Business Heads, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing & Transformation, Policies, Operations, Collections, and Technology teams.
- Own the P&L; responsibility for the LAP business contributing to the bank’s organizational objectives.
- Manage the customer journey and experience and implement strategic and tactical plans.
- Guide distribution of LAP products and portfolio mix to ensure volume scale-up as per defined targets.
- Design best-in-class products to position IDFC as the bank of choice for customers.




- Partner with Systems and Training teams to ensure compliance and adherence to company guidelines.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key dealers, manufacturers, brands, and channel/product partners.
- Collaborate with Technology team to drive system efficiencies and process improvements.
- Partner with Digital team to develop intuitive digital interfaces for DSAs and third-party vendors.
- Monitor portfolio performance and quality and provide recommendations for course correction.
- Work with Business Analytics team to identify potential for LAP business.
- Own dealer and brand relations and standardize processes to ensure constructive relationships.
- Lead negotiations and finalization of digital partnerships and tie-ups to expand network and business volume.
