Role Purpose:

Jindal India Limited is looking for an experienced Lead – Strategic Raw Material Procurement to work closely with Top Management, driving strategic sourcing, commodity market intelligence, cost optimization, supplier development, and supply risk management.

The role will have a direct impact on procurement competitiveness, profitability, and business continuity across key raw materials including HR Coil, Zinc, Magnesium, Paints, and other critical commodities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies for key raw materials.
- Provide commodity market intelligence, price outlook, and buying recommendations to Senior Management.
- Drive cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and procurement savings.




- Build and manage a robust domestic and global supplier network.
- Identify alternate sourcing opportunities and proactively manage supply and commodity risks.
- Drive long-term contracts, import opportunities, and inventory optimization.
- Work on alternate and cost effective sourcing strategies considering scalability of operations.
- Track commodity, freight, currency, and global market trends to support procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with Business, Finance, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure supply continuity and business alignment.
