Role Description This full-time, on-site Process Lead – AR (Hospital Billing) role is based in Chennai. Lead and monitor the daily performance of A/R analysts, ensuring productivity, quality, and SOP compliance.

Review daily productivity, quality, aging, and denial reports and take appropriate corrective action. Provide real-time coaching, feedback, mentoring, and floor support to team members. Manage workload allocation, queues, escalations, and day-to-day operational challenges.

Perform denial analysis and root-cause identification and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Identify recurring denial trends, process gaps, system issues, and opportunities for automation or process improvement. Drive cross-skilling and resource utilization to improve team efficiency.

Support leadership with operational reporting, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements,



company SOPs, and applicable regulations. Handle minor employee conflicts and performance-related concerns in alignment with company policies.

Support current-hire onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM , with strong specialization in Hospital/Facility A/R and Denial Management.
- Prior experience as a Process Lead / Team Lead / SME with people-coaching or team-management responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of Hospital Billing and Revenue Cycle workflows .
- Hands-on experience with Inpatient and/or Outpatient hospital claims .
- Good understanding of UB-04 / CMS-1450 and 837I institutional claims .
- Strong knowledge of insurance follow-up, claim resolution, denials, appeals, underpayments, aging A/R, and payer requirements.
- Experience analyzing denial trends and identifying root causes.
- Strong understanding of productivity, quality, and A/R performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel , including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience with hospital EHR/billing systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.
- Experience with clearinghouses such as Waystar, Availity, Change Healthcare, RealMed, etc.
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and Medicare Advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

⚠️ Important This role requires Hospital/Facility Billing and Hospital A/R experience.

Candidates with experience limited primarily to Physician/Professional Billing, Coding, Payment Posting, Eligibility/Verification, or non-hospital healthcare operations may not be suitable for this position.
