About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to define and evolve the architecture, reliability, security, and operational practices of our AWS-based SaaS platform .

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone with strong expertise across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, security, and incident management .

You will shape platform strategy, lead complex modernization and migration programs, improve reliability and scalability, and work closely with Product and Engineering leaders. You will also contribute to building the SRE organization in Bangalore through mentoring, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and hiring.

Core Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with:

Cloud:

AWS, EKS, EC2, RDS, EFS, S3, VPC, IAM, Route 53, ACM, ALB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SES

Containers & Kubernetes:

Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitOps

CI/CD:

Jenkins, Groovy, Argo CD

Infrastructure Automation:

Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible

Programming & Scripting:

Python, Go, Shell

Observability:

Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Opsgenie

Platform & Integration:





Kong and related cloud/platform technologies

Security & Compliance:

AWS Security, IAM, SOC 2, ISO, access governance, certificates and network security

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Principal-level SRE / Platform Engineering leader who combines:

- Deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise
- Strong architecture and reliability engineering skills
- Hands-on CI/CD and automation experience
- Strong production troubleshooting and incident-management capabilities
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance
- Experience leading complex migrations and modernization programs
- Robust programming/scripting abilities
- Excellent technical leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to work across geographically distributed teams
- A strong customer-focused and ownership-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications: 12 to 15 years’ experience

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in computer science, Information technology
