Role Description The Pricing Manager Import and Export is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for import and export operations, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining healthy margins. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, monitoring global and local cost fluctuations, and evaluating supplier and logistics pricing to support accurate quotations.

The Pricing

Manager will collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, and operations teams to prepare cost sheets, negotiate price components, and update pricing models and databases.



The role also involves creating periodic pricing reports, recommending adjustments, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with relevant trade regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

- Experience in import/export pricing, cost analysis, and margin management, preferably in a trading, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and pricing tools for scenario planning and forecasting.
- Knowledge of international trade concepts, incoterms, duties, taxes, freight charges, and basic compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, finance, operations) and communicate pricing decisions clearly.
- Attention to detail, structured documentation habits, and the ability to manage multiple pricing requests and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field; a specialized qualification in international trade or logistics is an advantage.
- Prior experience working in or with Mumbai-based import/export operations is preferred.
