We’re Hiring: Pre-Primary Teacher

Bodhira is looking for a warm, caring, creative, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher who enjoys working with young children and believes that the early years are the foundation of lifelong learning.

The Role

As a Pre-Primary Teacher at Bodhira, you will create a safe, joyful, and stimulating classroom where children feel comfortable exploring, learning, asking questions, and expressing themselves.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct age-appropriate, engaging classroom activities.
- Teach foundational concepts through play, stories, songs, art, activities, and hands-on learning.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment.
- Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, communication, and independence.
- Observe and understand each child's interests, strengths, and developmental needs.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development.
- Maintain regular communication with parents about children's learning and development.
- Prepare learning materials, activities, displays, and classroom resources.
- Maintain a protected, clean, organised, and child-friendly classroom.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and the academic team.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, activities, and teacher training.

- Patient, kind, empathetic, and nurturing personality.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for activity-based learning.
- Ability to engage children and make learning fun.
- A positive and growth-oriented attitude.
- D.El.Ed., B.El.Ed., NTT, ECCE, or a relevant qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience in a preschool or primary-school setting is an advantage.
- Freshers with the right attitude and passion for working with children are welcome to apply.
