About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and academically driven professional for the position of Primary Head to lead the Primary Wing of the school. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, sound academic understanding, effective communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and disciplined learning environment for students and staff members.

The Primary Head will be responsible for the overall academic and administrative functioning of the Primary Section, ensuring smooth operations, quality teaching-learning practices, student development, teacher mentoring, and effective coordination with parents and school management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the complete functioning of the Primary Wing (Classes Balvatika V).
- Ensure effective implementation of curriculum, lesson planning, assessments, and academic policies.
- Monitor classroom teaching, student engagement, and learning outcomes regularly.
- Conduct teacher observations, mentoring sessions, and performance evaluations for continuous improvement and organize training programs, workshops accordingly.
- Support teachers in adopting innovative and activity-based teaching methodologies.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments, competitions, events, and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure proper documentation, records, reports, and compliance with school procedures.
- Work closely with teachers, coordinators, and management to achieve academic goals and institutional vision.
- Build positive relationships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and feedback mechanisms.
- Address student-related concerns with sensitivity, fairness, and professionalism.
- Promote a child-friendly, inclusive, and secure school environment focused on holistic development.




- Ensure effective use of technology, ERP systems, smart classrooms, and digital learning tools in academics.
- Support admission-related activities, orientation programs, and school events whenever required.

Eligibility Criteria

- Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. mandatory; M.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with at least 23 years in academic leadership or coordination role.
- Experience in reputed CBSE/ICSE schools preferred.
- Strong understanding of school academic operations and child-centric education practices.

Candidates with a positive attitude, professional work ethic, administrative capability, and commitment towards academic quality will be preferred. The candidate should also possess the ability to work collaboratively with staff members, parents, and school leadership while maintaining discipline, transparency, and accountability.
