We are looking for a skilled and motivated PLC Engineer to join our team at our Chengalpattu Factory.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or similar systems.
- Develop and modify HMI/SCADA applications and establish communication with PLCs.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, control panel drawings, I/O lists, P&IDs;, and control logic diagrams.
- Perform PLC programming, I/O configuration, hardware configuration, and system integration.
- Conduct PLC panel testing, I/O testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, control panels, and automation-related issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, or equivalent.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and production teams for automation activities.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Prepare and maintain PLC programs, backup files, I/O documentation, and technical records.
- Assist in improving machine/process automation, reliability, and production efficiency.
- Ensure all automation activities are carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards.




- Provide technical support during breakdowns and resolve automation-related issues within the required timeline.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major PLC platform such as Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Schneider.
- Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems.
- Understanding of electrical control panels and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and automation documentation.
- Basic knowledge of VFDs, sensors, motors, relays, contactors, and industrial control systems.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with a technical team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant industrial automation/PLC experience.

- Factory automation and troubleshooting will be preferred.
