PMC Junior Engineer – Civil

Job Summary

We are looking for a PMC Junior Engineer – Civil to monitor and coordinate civil construction activities for the AIIMS Madurai Hospital Project. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building construction, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with contractors and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor day-to-day civil construction and finishing activities at site.

Coordinate with the PMC Design Team, contractors, PMU, and other project stakeholders.

Review civil drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.

Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, quality standards, and project requirements.

Inspect RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, façade, ceiling, roofing, and external development works.

Coordinate Civil–MEP interfaces to minimize clashes, delays, and rework.

Monitor site quality, workmanship, progress, and compliance with approved methodologies.

Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

Assist with quantity verification, measurements, inspections, snagging, testing, completion, and handover activities.





Prepare and submit regular site progress reports and highlight critical issues and delays to the Project Manager / Senior PMC Engineer.

Maintain proper site documentation and records.

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

3–4 years of experience in building construction.

Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional, or similar projects is preferred.

Experience in PMC/consultancy or contractor-side site execution is preferred.

Good knowledge of civil construction, finishing works, drawings, quality control, and site coordination.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹10,888.95 - ₹45,819.58 per month
