Role Description The Plant Head role is a full-time, in office position based in the Pune Division, responsible for overall management of Hylite galvanisers pvt ltd chakan.

The Plant

Head oversees day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, workflow coordination, resource allocation, and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role directs production teams, monitors output against targets, and ensures timely delivery of jobs as per customer specifications and international standards.

drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with senior leadership on capacity utilization and strategic planning. Regular interaction with maintenance, quality, logistics, and customer service teams is expected to ensure smooth operations and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management, with experience overseeing end-to-end plant activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and resource scheduling to meet capacity, lead time, and delivery targets.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and implementation of standards and processes for consistent, compliant output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting and cost optimization, including monitoring operating expenses and improving efficiency.
- Experience in galvanizing, electroplating, or heavy manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Proven leadership abilities, team management experience, and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills are essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Production, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or 5S) is an advantage.
