Job Summary

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing/production planning, preferably with basic knowledge of industrial valve manufacturing.

The candidate should have good knowledge of ERP/system-based planning, MS Office, production scheduling, and shop-floor coordination. Basic experience or knowledge of forging and machine shop operations is preferred.

The candidate should be capable of handling pre-planning activities and coordinating with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to achieve production and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare production plans and schedules based on customer requirements and delivery commitments.
- Carry out pre-planning activities for valve manufacturing orders.
- Review drawings, BOMs, routing, material requirements, and manufacturing processes for planning purposes.
- Plan and coordinate production activities for various types of industrial valves, including:
- Ball Valves
- Gate Valves
- Globe Valves
- Check Valves
- Butterfly Valves
- Other industrial valves
- Coordinate with the forging and machine shop for timely completion of components.
- Monitor daily production progress against the planned schedule.
- Prepare machine-wise and process-wise production schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and Assembly teams.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, forgings, components, drawings, tools, and other production requirements.
- Update and maintain production planning data in the ERP/MRP system.
- Track work orders and identify delays, bottlenecks, and pending activities.




- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports and MIS.
- Follow up with concerned departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Support capacity planning, machine loading, and delivery planning.
- Maintain proper planning records and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in production planning / PPC / manufacturing.
- Basic experience or knowledge of valve manufacturing is sufficient.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and willingness to work extensively with production planning software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of forging and machine shop processes.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing routings.
- Valuable coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with production teams and handle multiple orders/schedules.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial valve manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Candidates with manufacturing planning experience in forging, machining, or engineering industries may also be considered.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC and conventional machining processes is an added advantage.

Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Planning Engineer who can coordinate effectively with the shop floor and other departments. Candidates with basic valve manufacturing knowledge and good planning/system skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
