Full time To develop, monitor, and control project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects by coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. The Planning Engineer shall provide project planning, progress monitoring, delay analysis, reporting, and scheduling support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain master project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), project milestones, and activity sequences.
Prepare baseline schedules and monitor adherence throughout project execution.
Review contractor schedules and recommend improvements.
Progress Monitoring & Control
Monitor project progress against approved baselines.
Update schedules based on actual progress and site inputs.
Identify critical path activities and potential delays.
Prepare recovery and acceleration plans where required.
Reporting
Generate weekly and monthly progress reports.
Prepare dashboards, S-curves, manpower histograms, and KPI reports.
Present progress status, risks, and forecasts to project management and clients.
Coordination
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Participate in project review meetings with clients and contractors.
Ensure alignment of project schedules across all disciplines.
Risk & Delay Management
Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation measures.
Perform delay analysis and assess impacts on project completion dates.
Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims and schedule-related contractual matters.
