Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Placement Officer to lead and manage end-to-end placement activities. This role involves building strong industry connections, driving placement outcomes, mentoring students, and leading the placement team to achieve organizational targets. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality employment opportunities for students and maintaining strong employer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Placement Strategy & Execution

- Develop and implement placement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Drive campus placement activities, job drives, and recruitment events
- Ensure maximum student placement with quality job opportunities
- Track placement metrics and continuously improve outcomes

1. Industry & Corporate Relations

- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, HRs, and recruiters
- Identify new hiring partners and expand the employer network
- Collaborate with industry partners for hiring pipelines and workforce requirements

1. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead and mentor the placement team to achieve targets
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance
- Ensure smooth coordination between training, academic, and placement teams

Student Readiness & Grooming

- Oversee student training programs including soft skills, interview preparation, and aptitude
- Conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, and career guidance sessions
- Ensure students are industry-ready before placements

1. Employer Engagement & Coordination

- Coordinate with recruiters for job requirements, interview schedules, and hiring processes
- Organize campus drives, virtual hiring events, and recruitment campaigns
- Ensure a seamless hiring experience for both students and employers

1. Data Management & Reporting

- Maintain placement records, reports, and databases
- Analyze placement data and generate insights for improvement
- Prepare periodic reports for management review

1. Branding & Outreach

- Represent the organization in industry meets, job fairs, and networking events
- Strengthen the brand positioning among recruiters and hiring partners
