About the Role

We are looking for a energetic, disciplined, and student-focused Physical Education Teacher to join our school. The candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting physical education and sports activities, promoting fitness and sportsmanship among students, and supporting the schools overall student development programme.

The selected candidate may also be required to perform hostel/warden-related duties on an as-and-when-required basis, including supervising students, maintaining discipline, ensuring adherence to hostel routines, and supporting their safety and well-being.

Roles & Responsibilities

Physical Education & Sports

- Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education classes for students.
- Organize sports, games, physical fitness and recreational activities.
- Train and mentor students in various indoor and outdoor sports.
- Identify students with sporting potential and provide appropriate guidance and training.
- Organize and coordinate inter-house, inter-school and annual sports activities.
- Maintain sports equipment, inventory and ensure its safe and proper usage.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, leadership, fitness and sportsmanship among students.
- Ensure proper safety measures during sports and physical activities.




- Maintain relevant records related to sports activities, student participation and achievements.

Student Supervision & Development

- Maintain a positive, disciplined and encouraging environment for students.
- Monitor students during activities and ensure their safety.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, camps, educational activities and other duties assigned by the school management.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff for the overall development of students.

Hostel/Warden Responsibilities As & When Required

- Supervise and monitor hostel students during assigned periods/shifts.
- Ensure students follow the prescribed hostel routine, rules and discipline.
- Monitor attendance, daily routines, study time, meals, recreation and other hostel activities as assigned.
- Ensure the safety, security and general well-being of students residing in the hostel.
- Address student concerns and promptly report any serious issue to the concerned authority.
- Maintain appropriate records/logs related to hostel attendance, discipline and activities.
- Coordinate with school management and other staff regarding hostel-related matters.
- Be available for occasional hostel/warden duties as required by the school.
