About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our enterprise SaaS platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, providing flexibility to balance remote work with onsite collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend application development, a strong understanding of modern PHP frameworks, and a passion for building robust enterprise solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in PHP 8.x, Object-Oriented Programming, and the LAMP stack.

Experience with MVC frameworks such as CakePHP is essential. Additionally, proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Bootstrap, along with familiarity with databases such as MySQL and NoSQL, is required.

Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) is highly preferred.



Candidates with a background in Life Sciences or Healthcare industries will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP 8.x and modern MVC frameworks, with a preference for CakePHP.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and facilitate third-party integrations to enhance platform functionality.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure reliable service delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to uphold code quality standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile development processes.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document technical specifications, SOPs, and system architecture for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
