About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using PHP, particularly with CodeIgniter framework, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in PHP development, with a focus on building scalable web applications.
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and frameworks such as CodeIgniter.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.




- Proficiency in MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Solid understanding of MySQL, including complex queries, indexing, transactions, and database normalization.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Experience using version control systems like Git, along with tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Knowledge of web security best practices, including protection against SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, and session management vulnerabilities.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code, with a focus on debugging and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Design, write, and optimize MySQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database structures to ensure efficient data management.
- Implement authentication, authorization, sessions, cookies, and role-based access control mechanisms to secure applications.
- Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and application bugs through rigorous testing and debugging.
- Integrate external services such as payment gateways, email/SMS services, and other third-party APIs to extend application capabilities.




- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and develop comprehensive application features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best coding practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of production issues to ensure application stability and performance.
- Utilize Git for source code management, following proper branching, merging, and code review practices.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Monitor and optimize application and database performance, including API response times and overall system efficiency.
