PHARMACY ASSISTANT Location: Kumaranasan Road, Elamkulam, Kadavanthra, Kochi Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Position: Pharmacy Assistant Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a reliable, caring and energetic Pharmacy Assistant to support the daily operations of our pharmacy and serve customers in the surrounding neighbourhood. A key part of this role is providing local medicine delivery, especially to elderly, disabled and homebound customers who may have difficulty visiting the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Operations - Assist the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations.

- Welcome and assist customers at the pharmacy.
- Help with billing, packing and processing customer orders.
- Receive, organize and arrange medicines and pharmacy products.
- Maintain clean, organized and well-stocked shelves.
- Check stock and expiry dates under the pharmacist's supervision.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Follow the pharmacist's instructions when preparing customer orders.
- Refer medication-related questions to the pharmacist.

Medicine

Delivery - Deliver medicines and pharmacy products to customers within the local area.
- Give priority and special care to elderly, disabled and homebound customers.
- Ensure medicines reach customers safely, accurately and promptly.
- Collect prescriptions, orders or payments where required.
- Maintain basic delivery records.
- Communicate respectfully with customers and their families.




- Immediately refer medication-related questions or concerns to the pharmacist.

Community Care

Our pharmacy aims to be a trusted neighbourhood pharmacy, particularly for people who may find it difficult to access medicines themselves.

The Pharmacy

Assistant should be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and is willing to go the extra mile for elderly, disabled and homebound customers.

Requirements - Previous experience in a pharmacy, medical store, retail or customer-service setting preferred.

- Must know how to ride a two-wheeler.
- Own bike/scooter strongly preferred.
- Valid driving licence required for delivery duties.
- Comfortable making local deliveries independently.
- Basic smartphone and WhatsApp skills.
- Basic computer/billing knowledge preferred.
- Good communication skills in Malayalam; basic English preferred.
- Honest, punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable with both pharmacy work and local deliveries.
