Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Coimbatore. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, advising on dosage and side effects, and monitoring for drug interactions. The role also involves maintaining inventory, checking expiry dates, handling stock rotation, and ensuring proper storage of medicines. The Pharmacist will support store operations by managing documentation,



adhering to quality and compliance protocols, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and delivering courteous, efficient service to all customers.

Qualifications

- Licensed pharmacist with a valid registration (e.g., B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institution) and eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Solid knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutic indications, dosage calculations, and drug interactions, with careful attention to prescription validation and medication safety.
- Experience in retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing, billing, inventory management, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to counsel patients, explain medication use clearly, and interact professionally with healthcare providers and team members.
- Ability to use pharmacy management systems and basic digital tools for prescription processing, record-keeping, and stock control.
- High level of integrity, ethical practice, and commitment to patient-centric care, with strong organizational skills and reliability in shift-based work.
- Previous experience in a high-volume pharmacy or healthcare retail environment is an advantage; familiarity with Indian healthcare regulations is beneficial.
