- Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions issued by physicians.
- Review customers’ medication therapy and provide guidance on proper medication use and possible side effects.
- Explain how and when prescribed medicines should be taken.
- Assist with basic health and wellness screenings when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prescription records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment.
- Handle routine pharmacy operations, including verifying order entries, maintaining required medication records, monitoring stock, and removing expired or damaged medicines from inventory.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical practice.
- Assist with administrative and other pharmacy-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy products.
- Basic pharmaceutical qualification preferred; candidates with other educational qualifications may also apply.
- Willingness to learn and handle day-to-day pharmacy operations.
