Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons in Accountancy and Business Studies for senior secondary students.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Ensure strong conceptual understanding of Accountancy and Business Studies through practical examples and application-based learning.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations through structured revision, assessments, and performance tracking.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and remedial interventions.
- Use innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies to enhance classroom engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, assessments, and other academic activities.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress and development.
- Contribute to co-curricular, school events,



assemblies, clubs, and other institutional activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership for academic planning and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, disciplined, and student-centric classroom environment.
- Uphold the school's values, policies, child safeguarding standards, and professional code of conduct.

Educational Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce / relevant discipline from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. from a recognised institution.
- Candidates should meet the applicable CBSE/NCERT eligibility requirements for the PGT position.

Desired Experience & Skills
- Prior teaching experience as a PGT – Commerce, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Strong subject knowledge in Accountancy and Business Studies.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate senior secondary students.
- Solid lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits Monthly CTC: 25,000 – 30,000
