nAssistant Professor : Digital Imaging, Fashion Photography & Visual Communication
nPosition Summary
nThe Assistant Professor shall be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, practical studio instruction, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic administration in the areas of digital photography, fashion photography, videography, image editing, and computer-aided design using Adobe Creative Suite. The faculty member will contribute to creating industry-ready graduates through experiential learning, project-based education, and integration of emerging digital technologies.

nQualifications

- Master's Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Photography, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media,



or a closely related discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.n
- NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per current UGC regulations (where applicable).n
- Industry experience in fashion photography, commercial photography, digital media, or visual communication is desirable.n

- Deliver lectures, practical studio sessions, demonstrations, and workshops.n
- Develop lesson plans aligned with Programme Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs).n
- Conduct studio-based learning in photography and fashion imaging.n
- Train students in DSLR/Mirrorless camera operations, lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.n
- Teach image editing, retouching, digital illustration, and graphic communication using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.n
