Role Purpose To provide engaging and structured dance training to students, develop their skills and confidence, and encourage creativity and participation in school performances and events.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct dance classes for students across different age groups.

- Teach basic and advanced dance techniques according to students’ abilities.

- Train students in various dance forms such as Indian Classical, Bollywood, Western, Contemporary, Folk, etc.

- Prepare students for annual functions, cultural events, competitions, assemblies, and other school programmes.

- Create and choreograph age-appropriate dance performances.

- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

- Encourage students to participate actively and develop confidence through dance.





- Coordinate with teachers and the school management for performances and events.

- Track students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of dance equipment and activity spaces.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Diploma/Certification in Dance or Performing Arts preferred.

- Formal training in one or more recognised dance forms.

- Prior experience teaching dance in schools or educational institutions preferred.

- Positive communication and classroom-management skills.

- Creative, energetic, patient, and comfortable working with children.

- Ability to choreograph performances for school events.
