Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Role Overview The Senior Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring solution quality across the delivery lifecycle by designing, executing, and validating functional, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) test scenarios. The role works closely with Test Leads, QE Leads, Developers, Business stakeholders, and Environment/Data teams to ensure that testing is comprehensive, risk-based, and aligned to business outcomes.

The Senior Test Engineer is expected to take ownership of complex test scenarios, contribute to test planning and strategy execution, proactively identify risks and defects, and support continuous improvement of testing practices across Work packages and releases. Roles & Responsibilities:

Define test data strategy and plan data creation, masking, and refresh cycles.

Source, generate, and provision test data. Implementation of EDM tool. Alignment with migration team to ensure readiness of migrated data and load to test environments.

Align data availability with environment schedules and maintain cross system consistency.

Coordinate with Test, Dev, Business, Infra, and DBA teams act as central data contact.





Ensure data quality and governance maintain dictionaries and mapping rules.

Manage and resolve data related issues perform root cause analysis.

Track data readiness, maintain workstream plan, and report risks/blockers.

Drive continuous improvement and maintain reusable data sets for future cycles. Skills:

Strong experience in functional, system, integration, and E2E testing

Ability to design and execute complex test scenarios based on business processes and solution flows

Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, ALM or equivalent)

Understanding of test data usage and dependencies to support scenario execution

Familiarity with setting coordination and readiness for SIT, UAT, and regression cycles

Experience validating cross-system integrations and interfaces

Working knowledge of defect lifecycle management, including triage and retesting

Exposure to automation testing concepts and collaboration with automation engineers (even if not hands-on) Must-Have Skills:

Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Test Engineer / Test Analyst on medium to large programs

Ability to independently design, execute, and maintain test cases and E2E scenarios

Strong understanding of business processes and system interactions

Experience identifying, logging, and driving closure of high-impact defects

Ability to collaborate closely with Test Leads / QE Leads to ensure coverage and quality

Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles

Strong discipline in test execution, evidence capture, and status reporting
