Operation Theatre (OT) technician is a crucial allied healthcare professional who ensures the safe and productive functioning of the operating room before, during, and after surgery. Their role includes preparing sterile equipment and the OR environment, assisting surgeons and anesthetists, monitoring patients, and maintaining infection control. With minimum 1 year experience

Key responsibilities of an OT technician include:

- Pre-operative Prep:Organizing and sterilizing surgical instruments, arranging equipment, ensuring the operating table is ready, and helping to prepare the patient.
- Intra-operative Assistance:Assisting the surgical team by passing instruments, operating suction devices, holding retractors, and providing technical support.




- Anesthesia Support:Assisting the anesthetist with equipment setup and monitoring.
- Post-operative Care:Cleaning and disinfecting the operating room, managing hazardous waste disposal, and prepping the room for the next case.
- Safety & Compliance:Adhering strictly to infection control policies, patient safety protocols, and maintaining sterile fields.

OT technicians must remain calm under pressure, have excellent attention to detail, and work well within a high-pressure team environment Related certification must.
