Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre, instruments, equipment, and required supplies before procedures.

- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures as required.

- Ensure availability and proper arrangement of surgical instruments, consumables, and OT supplies.

- Handle, clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments as per hospital protocols.

- Assist in maintaining sterile conditions and follow infection-control practices.

- Check OT equipment and report any malfunction or shortage to the concerned authority.

- Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery as directed by the clinical team.

- Maintain proper OT records, registers, checklists, and documentation.

- Ensure protected handling and disposal of biomedical waste as per applicable protocols.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of the Operation Theatre before and after procedures.

- Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, CSSD,



and other departments for smooth OT operations.

- Ensure timely availability and proper storage of instruments, consumables, and emergency supplies.

- Follow hospital policies, standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and instructions from seniors.

- Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the reporting authority.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Qualification: Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent recognized qualification.

- Experience: 0–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital/Operation Theatre. Freshers with relevant qualification may also be considered.

- Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, OT protocols, sterilization, infection control, and biomedical waste management.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
