We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OT Nurse to provide safe and productive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of operation theatre protocols, infection control practices, surgical instruments, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare the operation theatre, instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Perform proper surgical hand scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and maintain sterile techniques.
- Handle and prepare surgical instruments and ensure their availability during procedures.
- Monitor and maintain infection control and aseptic practices in the OT.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer before and after surgery.
- Check and maintain OT equipment, instruments, and emergency supplies.
- Maintain accurate documentation, surgical counts, and OT records.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.
- Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anaesthesia staff, nurses,



and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and turnover of the OT after procedures.
- Provide appropriate post-operative support and ensure safe transfer of patients to the recovery area.

Requirements:

- GNM/B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Previous OT/Operation Theatre experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, sterilization, and infection control.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including emergencies when required.
