Job Summary

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a responsible and skilled OT Technician to support daily operation theatre activities. The candidate will assist the clinical team with OT preparation, surgical instruments, sterilization, equipment handling, and maintaining a safe and organized theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies.
- Assist doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff during procedures.
- Follow established sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Handle surgical instruments carefully and ensure proper cleaning and storage.
- Check OT equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Support patient preparation and safe transfer as required.
- Maintain OT registers, records, and procedure-related documentation.
- Monitor availability of OT consumables and inform the concerned team about requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the operation theatre.




- Follow patient-safety procedures and centre protocols.
- Coordinate effectively with nursing and medical teams.

Eligibility

- Diploma or B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant OT experience is preferred.
- Experience in IVF, gynaecology, laparoscopy, or other surgical procedures will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered based on the centre's requirements.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
