Oracle CPQ Developer - J50838

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle CPQ solutions, with a strong focus on BML development .
2. Configure and customize Oracle CPQ commerce processes covering:

Product selection

Quoting

Pricing

Approvals

Validations

Transaction workflows

3. Translate functional and business requirements into technical designs, BML scripts, business rules, and CPQ configurations.
4. Develop and maintain pricing calculations, validations, commerce rules, and workflow logic.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues related to BML, pricing calculations, commerce rules, and quote workflows.
6. Perform unit testing and support integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
7. Prepare technical documentation and maintain appropriate implementation records.

8. Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, integration teams, QA teams, and delivery stakeholders.
9. Follow established coding, security, release, testing, and change-management standards.
10. Deliver assigned development activities within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills &

Qualifications Oracle CPQ

1. Hands-on development experience with Oracle CPQ.
2. Strong experience in Oracle CPQ commerce configuration and customization.

BML Development
1. Strong and demonstrable proficiency in BigMachines Language (BML).
2. Ability to develop, understand,



debug, and optimize complex BML scripts.
3. Candidates should be comfortable explaining real-world BML development scenarios and solutions.

Commerce, Quoting & Pricing
1. Solid understanding of end-to-end quoting and pricing processes.
2. Experience with:

Business rules

Pricing calculations

Validations

Discounts and exceptions

Approval workflows

Quote transactions

Technical Delivery
1. Ability to convert business requirements into production-ready technical solutions.

2. Strong troubleshooting and independent debugging capabilities.
3. Experience working on enterprise CPQ implementations or enhancements.

Communication & Collaboration
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

2. Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly.
3. Comfortable collaborating with distributed business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
1. Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems.

2. Knowledge of web services and APIs.
3. Experience with:

Product configuration

Advanced pricing rules

Approval workflows

Document generation

CPQ administration

4. Experience supporting complex enterprise implementations, production operations, releases, and enhancements.
5. Familiarity with source control, structured testing, technical documentation, and Agile delivery practices .
