Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Dispense contact lenses, glasses, or other optical devices as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures such as LASIK surgery or cataract removal when required.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Job Requirements :
- 2-4 years of experience in optometry or related field (ophthalmology).
- Solid knowledge of contact lens fitting techniques and refraction principles.
- Proficiency in glaucoma testing methods and retinal imaging technologies.
- Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
