Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our handicraft manufacturing facility in Jodhpur.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in factory operations, production management, manpower handling, artisan management, quality control, inventory, and production planning. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth factory operations while maintaining product quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise complete day-to-day factory operations.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor production according to orders and delivery timelines.
- Manage production teams, supervisors, artisans, and factory staff.
- Allocate manpower and resources effectively to achieve production targets.
- Monitor production progress and take corrective action when required.
- Maintain and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate procurement and availability of raw materials and production requirements.
- Monitor inventory, wastage, material consumption, and production costs.
- Coordinate with design, merchandising,



purchase, quality, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of customer orders.
- Improve production processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain proper factory records, production reports, and operational documentation.
- Ensure workplace discipline, safety, and cleanliness.
- Identify operational issues and resolve them quickly to avoid production delays.
- Train, motivate, and manage production staff and artisan teams.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in factory operations, production management, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in handicraft, furniture, home décor, textiles, metal, wood, or related manufacturing will be preferred.
- Solid experience in managing factory manpower and production teams.
- Good understanding of production planning, quality control, inventory, and material management.
- Ability to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach to factory management.
- Proficiency in Excel and production reporting is preferred.
