Team Size: 3 Operations Executives (direct reports)

About the Role

We're looking for an Ops Lead to own end-to-end supply and inventory operations for our EMEA marketplace business (Amazon, Noon, Trendyol, Carrefour, and similar platforms). This is a hands-on operator role combined with people leadership- You will be accountable for inventory availability, freight/cost efficiency, and finance-grade reporting, while building and mentoring a small team into a high-performing unit.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

- Liaise across the supply chain (manufacturing, warehousing, freight, 3PLs) to ensure timely, accurate delivery of inventory into EMEA markets
- Own the 3-to-6-month rolling supply planning cycle — demand forecasting inputs, replenishment cadence, and buffer stock strategy — following established S&OP; processes
- Negotiate internally with supply/production teams to secure optimal inventory allocation and delivery timelines
- Monitor and resolve stock-out and overstock risks proactively across all marketplace channels

Marketplace Operations

- Manage day-to-day operational health across Amazon, Noon, Trendyol, Carrefour, and other EMEA marketplaces — listing availability, fulfillment SLAs, and inventory sync
- Track marketplace-specific compliance requirements (labeling, documentation, regional regulations) and ensure adherence
- Build strong working relationships with marketplace account/category teams to unblock operational issues quickly

Logistics, Freight & Cost Optimization

- Apply an AI-first, data-driven approach to continuously identify the most efficient shipping routes, freight modes, and carriers to optimize cost and turnaround time (TAT)

- Track and report on key logistics KPIs: freight cost per unit, TAT adherence, fill rate, and inventory turns
- Evaluate and recommend current tools, automation, or vendor partners that improve operational efficiency

Finance & Compliance Coordination

- Partner with Finance on all MIS reporting, inventory valuation, and compliance documentation
- Ensure inventory data integrity across systems to support accurate financial reconciliation
- Flag and resolve discrepancies between operational and financial inventory records in a timely manner

Team Leadership

- Grow, coach, and mentor a team of 3 Operations Executives, setting clear goals and a development path for each
- Build a high-performance, accountable team culture — with the explicit ambition of being in the top 1% of ops teams in the country
- Own team capacity planning, workload distribution, and cross-training to ensure business continuity
- Cross-cultural communication: Ability to work effectively with marketplace partners, freight vendors, and internal stakeholders across different EMEA markets and time zones, adapting communication style accordingly
- Stakeholder influence without authority: Skilled at negotiating with internal teams (supply, finance, category) who don't directly report to this role, to secure timelines and resources
- Decision-making under ambiguity:

Comfortable making calls on freight/cost tradeoffs and supply risks with incomplete information, and owning the outcome
- Composure under pressure: Able to stay level-headed and solution-oriented during stock-out crises, shipment delays, or marketplace escalations, and model that composure for the team
- Proactive escalation: Surfaces risks and bad news early to the Region Head rather than waiting for problems to compound — critical given the multi-market, fast-moving nature of e-commerce ops
- Collaborative accountability: Builds trust with the team through consistency and fairness, while holding a high-performance bar aligned to the "top 1%" ambition of the role

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree / MBA in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or e-commerce/marketplace operations
- Prior experience with international marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, Trendyol, Carrefour, or similar) strongly preferred
- Experience managing or mentoring a team is required

Functional and Technical Skills

- Strong command of supply/demand planning methodologies (S&OP;, safety stock, reorder point modeling)
- Proficiency in Excel/data analysis; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) a plus
- Working knowledge of ERP/inventory management systems and marketplace seller platforms (Seller Central, Noon Partner, etc.)
- Comfort applying AI/automation tools to operational decision-making (forecasting, freight optimization)
- Understanding of international logistics, freight modes, customs/compliance basics for EMEA trade
