1. Prepare and set up the OT before every hair transplant procedure.
2. Ensure all instruments, consumables, equipment, and surgical materials are available and sterilized.
3. Assist the doctor during FUE/FUT hair transplant procedures as required.
4. Assist with patient preparation, positioning, shaving, marking, and maintaining a sterile field.
5. Handle grafts carefully during extraction, sorting, counting, preservation, and implantation.
6. Assist in preparation of solutions and consumables as instructed by the doctor.
7. Maintain proper handling and storage of hair grafts to ensure graft viability.
8. Clean and decontaminate all surgical instruments immediately after the procedure as per the prescribed protocol.
9. Perform proper washing, drying, inspection and packing of instruments before sterilization.
10. Operate the autoclave and carry out sterilization of instruments as per the clinic's SOP and manufacturer's instructions.
11. Maintain autoclave records, sterilization logs and indicator records as required.

Monitor and maintain OT hygiene, sterilization, and infection-control protocols.
13. Ensure all surgical instruments are cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, and properly stored after each procedure.
14. Maintain OT stock and inform the concerned person about low-stock or required consumables.
15. Assist in maintaining patient records, procedure sheets, graft counts, and OT documentation.
16. Follow all safety protocols and instructions given by the doctor and management.
17. Coordinate with the front-office, and other clinical teams for smooth patient flow.
18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
19. Handle emergency situations calmly and immediately inform the doctor or concerned medical personnel.
20. Ensure proper housekeeping and readiness of the OT before and after every procedure.Role & responsibilities
