Job Summary

We are looking for an Odoo Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of Odoo business applications and ERP workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing appropriate Odoo functional solutions, configuring Odoo, preparing functional specifications, testing functionality, and supporting users during Odoo implementation.

Responsibilities

- Understand and analyse business requirements.
- Study existing business processes and map them to Odoo workflows.
- Configure Odoo according to business requirements.
- Work with standard Odoo functionality and identify suitable solutions before recommending customisation.
- Prepare functional requirement documents and functional specifications.
- Configure Odoo modules, workflows, settings and business rules.
- Configure users, roles and access rights from a functional perspective.
- Configure and manage master data required for implementation.
- Assist with data import and data migration from a functional perspective.
- Prepare functional test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional testing of Odoo configurations and customisations.
- Identify functional errors and clearly document issues for resolution.
- Validate custom-developed features against approved requirements.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare Odoo user manuals and functional documentation.
- Provide functional training to Odoo users.
- Support users in understanding and correctly using Odoo workflows.
- Analyse user-reported functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation of Odoo configurations and implemented workflows.
- Keep up to date with Odoo features,



standard functionality and best practices.

Odoo Functional Knowledge Required Strong functional knowledge of relevant Odoo modules, preferably including:
- CRM
- Sales
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Accounting
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- Point of Sale
- Project
- Website
- eCommerce
- Employees / HR

The candidate does not need to be an Odoo developer, but should understand Odoo's functional architecture well enough to communicate requirements clearly with technical teams.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business workflows.
- Good practical knowledge of Odoo.
- Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into Odoo solutions.
- Good knowledge of Odoo configuration.
- Solid functional testing skills.
- Good documentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good understanding of business processes.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex workflows and explain them clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in Odoo implementation.
- Experience with Odoo Community or Enterprise.
- Odoo functional certification is an advantage.
- Experience with multiple Odoo versions is an advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- Practical experience working with Odoo.
- Strong functional understanding rather than only theoretical knowledge.
- Ability to independently analyse requirements.
- Ability to configure Odoo without depending on developers for standard functionality.
- Attention to detail when testing and validating ERP workflows.
- A willingness to continuously learn new Odoo versions and modules.

Role: Odoo Functional Consultant Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
