Role Description The Occupational Therapist will work full time in a remote capacity, providing assessment and intervention services primarily to clients associated with industrial and workplace environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating functional abilities, designing individualized rehabilitation and therapy plans, and recommending adaptive techniques or equipment to support safe and efficient performance in daily and work-related activities.

The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, employers, and families to support return-to-work, injury prevention, and improved quality of life.

The Occupational

Therapist will document treatment plans and progress, provide telehealth sessions, and promote health, safety, and ergonomic best practices aligned with industry needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and functional outcome evaluation.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to occupational health,



including understanding of physical and mental health conditions affecting daily and work-related activities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and for delivering clear education and guidance.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Pediatrics when working with children and adolescents, including age-appropriate therapeutic approaches and family-centered care.
- Licensed or certified Occupational Therapist (or eligibility for licensure/certification) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Experience with telehealth or remote therapy delivery, and familiarity with electronic documentation and digital communication tools.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in industrial or occupational health settings is an advantage, as is knowledge of ergonomics, workplace safety, and vocational rehabilitation.
